Week in Review:  We had a heck of a week in bonds, we got 3 or 4 repricing alerts for the worse, but they ended the week unchanged or up slightly.   That has been our week in the mortgage bond market. 

After last week's relatively slow economic news, somethings will heat up this week with several events that will have the potential to cause a stir in the market. Wednesday, the Fed will announce their interest rate decision.  I think they will not move, but I could be wrong.  

Then the very next day, the Fed's most preferred gauge of inflation will come out, the Personal Consumption Expenditure Index (PCE). It will be interesting to see to the Fed's decision, and what the inflation numbers will reveal!

And, on Friday the very important Jobs Report comes out and early guesses are up to a net loss of 80,000 jobs.

Home sales met expectations, but new home sales we much worse than expected.  Nat City did get a $7billion cash infusion, could it be that some investors are seeing some value in the battered financial sector.  Could BE?!?!?!?!?!
