I just got done reading Paul Pastore's article on this issue. He was writing about a recent meeting of long time real estate greats. They were asked this question - when will the market improve? This was the answer that got me -
Virginia Reichard, who recently turned 82, when she felt the market would improve. She replied, "The market will improve when you improve. The market will get better, when you get better".
I thought I would read a lot of different predictions - like spring of 2009 or 2012 or never.... At first I was a little put off by this comment, but then I realized this was really the best answer. The answer works for a lot more situations too.
