What City Close to Atlanta Georgia Is The Most Fun to Live In?

By
Real Estate Agent with David Tracy Real Estate #555994

Atlanta GA Map"What city within twenty miles from Atlanta Georgia is the most fun to live in? That is where we want to live! I know you were born in Columbus, Georgia so you must know where all the fun cities are!" Exclaimed my granddaughter.

Hmm, I thought, I left when I was a few weeks old. So, no, I do not know where all the fun cities are at. Luckily, I know a few people who may know!

My granddaughter is getting out of the Navy and wants to purchase a home with a VA loan in or near Atlanta Georgia. So that is the question I am posing to all my Active Rain brothers and sisters who live in or twenty miles from Atlanta Georgia.

What is the most fun city twenty miles from Atlanta Georga? Secondly, what part of Atlanta GA is the most fun to live in?

There may be a referral in this for someone.

My wife's sister lives in Alpharetta; her brother is in Marietta.  I have cousins in Roswell.  One advantage with those towns is the short drive to the North Carolina or Tennessee mountains.

I hear good things about Marietta too. I think know we have some excellent Rainers in the area.

Hello Sussie ...

I don't know but if I was to live in Georgia, I would live in a more laid back area like around Lake Sinclair where Tammy Lankford lives.

I've lived in North Atlanta area since 1993 in many different cities...I recently moved to Cumming GA almost 3 years ago and absolutely love it.  More home for the money, cheaper taxes, down to earth people, and nice values. It is close to Lake Lanier and the North GA mountains.  I even created a website for it. CummingGeorgiaHomes.com
