Photo by 101st Association Graphic Designer Katie Rodriguez. The State of Tennessee and the 101st Airborne Division Association are working on a Pre-Order for the new license plate to honor the 101st Airborne Division. Before Tennessee begins production, they must pre-sell 1,000 of the license plates at $35 each (additional registration fees apply). If for any reason they fail to get the minimum order all money would be refunded. ( I see no reason for them not to pre-sell more than enough )

Net proceeds from the sale of the plates will be allocated 50% to the 101st Airborne Association; 40% to the Tennessee Arts Commission; and 10% to the State Highway Fund. Sales are restricted by the legislation to registered vehicle owners of Tennessee.

Roland - I had no idea there were that many military license plates in Tennessee.  Now I'm curious about what North Carolina has to offer!

Penny: It is interesting to see all the different license plates. I believe it is a good way to support our military and reconise them. We see many of these on the road here in Tennessee
