Fascination

Because I love to listen to people, often times I melt into the "woodwork" to have them talk out a situation.  I watch the drama unfolding right before my eyes.  Sometimes I'm asked to comment.  At that point, I feel like I'm in Tony and Tina's wedding off Broadway.....the audience actually plays a part in the play!

I've taken a couple out for a while now.  Husband does not want to sell his 700' house to buy another one, even though he has a new wife and a small infant.  Husband bought the existing property with his ex-wife, and wants to hold on to it "just in case".  I guess it's like the fire extinguisher in the glass case!  I think the only fire he's planning for is the one he's starting himself.

New wife has been looking for a new house, that is bigger for their growing family.  She found the PERFECT house, and even asked her parents to come as they are helping with a gift!  The husband came, but, is now dragging his feet.  He finally realized, how are they going to afford two mortgages.........the "just in case" house and the "movin' on house"!   I think he's hoping to drag his feet just enough that the PERFECT house will be under contract.

Suggest a rental for the old house, and let them deal with tenants, if it works out well great if it doesn't then selling will become an option sooner rather than later. Steve

Sounds to me that the couple are on less than solid ground. I would get agressive and sell them, because if you don't someone else will.

Steve:  I'm afraid of them renting their existing home as they have a septic system and only .25 acres!  And tenants don't treat rental properties with kid gloves.

Greg:  They aren't on solid ground, I would feel guilty pushing too hard.

Pam:  you are right!

Fran:  I love it!
