This post was inspired by a very simple, yet thought provoking question by Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041 … “Does ActiveRain 
have the magic?”
Well to mimic my friend Michael Jacobs ...it depends.
You see magic exists for those who are willing to believe in it, hope for it, and accept it.
There are some who may never see the magic that exists in the world because they see not the possibilities but look for what isn’t.
If you are looking for the man behind the curtain, or if you choose to see the negative in whatever is out there, you will miss the magic.
The magic exists at ActiveRain in the community, and more specifically, in its members. The magic is here for those who are willing to see and believe.
So why are we here?
There are as many answers as there are members but underlying many, I suppose, would be for our business… to connect with others doing what we do, to learn so that we may improve our work, and to get ourselves out there so that our consumers will see us.
Another reason why we’re here is for the relationships, virtual and real. Yes, there’s the surface one we may establish in the hopes of a referral or two.
However, if you’ve been here any time at all, you’ll have seen or read about our Meetups. It’s the opportunity to meet someone in person whom you’ve been “talking to” for months and even years.
So, ask yourself why you’re here. And if you don’t feel you’re getting out of this community, what you’d hoped to get, then ask someone for help.
Communities are built by every individual, for that is what a community is… a group of many individuals, coming together for the good of the whole, yet respecting the individual.
So, just why are you here?
