Wood Group Mustang Holds Community Recycling Drive
Wood Group Mustang a diversified Oil and Gas Group is holding a community recycling drive at its West Houston Campus on Wednesday April 6, 2016. The drive starts at 8 AM and runs until 2 PM. This drive is to support the company's environmental stewardship program.
The concept is to promote environmental awareness and best practices. The company is inviting its employees and the local community to participate. Everyone will have the opportunity to donate recyclables items such as clothing, furniture, housewares, E-waste, eyeglasses, non-perishable food and pet food and supplies. This drive will accept both E-waste and end of life electronics. Many drives will not accept these types of items and disposal is difficult at best.
A few of the Groups who will benefit directly from the drive is the Boys and Girls Harbor, Katy Christian Ministries and Mutts and Meows rescue.
Katy Document Destruction will provide free shredding of confidential documents.
The physical location of the drive is at 17420 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX in the Ten West Center Parking lot. This is a few blocks west of the Barker Cypress exit from I-10 and on the North side of the freeway.
I wish i would have known about this drive several weeks ago as we have a lot of stuff for donation as well as recycling and document destruction. I applaud Wood Group Mustang for holding and sponsoring this type of event.
