Hi there Michael Jacobs and Ron and Alexandra Seigel - I think that the challenge for me is finding great shots that have some level of irony-this definitely "spoke" to me!

That is a strange sight, and not just for the beach. In fact, I'm having a hard time picturing it anywhere that is didn't stick out like sore thumb.
Good morning Joanna. Hmm, interesting on what it is, but more interested in how it got there.
Good morning Rebecca Gaujot, the Go To Realtor® and Chris Ann Cleland and James Dray - it is always fun to find "Found Objects or Found Art" because you just have to use your imagination and think about what it is, where it came from and what it possibly means.

Good Morning Joanna Cohlan - I like your new profile! I was intrigued by your photograph and title for this post dated 4/6. Coincidentally, I was on my way to the doctor's yesterday waiting for the traffic light to change and the sky was just beautiful! The clouds were different. They looked shimmery like pearls. The first thought that popped into my mind was, I wonder if that was the inspiration for whoever coined the phrase, "pearly gates?"

That would be a piece my daughter would find a use for in her decorating. She thinks outside the box. Love thinking about where this was used previously.

Joanna Cohlan Amazing just thinking about how it turned up at the beach. Cool.
Glad you had a beautiful sky siting Patricia Feager - you have such imagination!
Hi there Debbie Reynolds and Mary Yonkers - I can totally understand how someone could love this and in fact, use it in their decor - maybe in the garden?

Joaann, now that would make a great staging prop. Not sure which room it would show off the best!
Good morning Joanna. The stool has seen better days, I wonder how many times it may have benefited the one that used it.
And, Joe Petrowsky I have no idea if it really IS a stepstool!!! It looks like it could be the back of a toilet!!!!
I can't figure out what it's made of, but assuming plastic judging from the wear and tear? Regardless, another interesting find from you. Many people might have ignored this, your creative mind always sees the treasure in things. I like that about you.

Joanna, that is quite unique, and it does look like a paper holder on the side!
Thanks so much Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - these interesting finds just pop up in the strangest places.
Thanks Robert Vegas Bob Swetz I like to think that it is "found"art!

Well it appears to have been well used. It needs to be put out of it's misery though. LOL
Touche!!I think what impressed me Sharon Tara was the way it just say there so lonely on this beach!!! Like a throne of some kind where someone sat to watch the sea!

Don't you love the finds that are so thought-provoking?? You and I are similar in the polar opposite category....you find urban treasures in the most unlikeliest places and I find nature speaking to me in an other-wordly kind of way...our crazy out-of-the-box look at things that we have in common...yet another reason why we're sistas!
