Growing up this was just the rock town, Castle Rock is now the 10th fastest growing community in the U.S. per Time Magazine. It was the town on the way to Colorado Springs now it is in itself a full fledged "suburb" of Denver. I recently attended an industry event in Castle Pines for Douglas County and had the opportunity to hear Mayor Donahue speak so excitedly about the growth of Castle Rock.

The growth is non-stop a 70 million dollar investment in downtown Castle Rock -- The Mercantile project on 3rd street and the DeSimone project on Wilcox account for approximately 60 million dollars in investment. Festival Park proposed at 5 million will include, an outdoor pavillion and fire pit; splash pad; great lawn; play elements; lighting and seating; and a gateway feature. A wonderful place to spend the day outside in the amazing Colorado weather.
Easy access to Denver Metro with the $83 million dollar project on US 85 as well as I-25 you are a short distance away from Denver, DIA and the ski slopes.
