Just a short time before you must file your tax returns or an extension.
I never could understand the extension.
You have to get all stressed out to file it and pay what you think you need to.
Then in Aug. you have to get all stressed out again and actually get them done.
I suppose there is a reason...I just can't think of one.
Stop filing tax myself. With a CPA have not hear from IRS once.

Two years ago my CPA passed away on April 16. I had him since 1990 and the stress got to him.

Love the graphic.....my taxes were filed in February, I already got my return and it all went towards a new "rear end".....on my car.
Ugh, I was just reminding myself that I need to send off my 1st quarter estimated tax payment, haha.
Get it done and out of the way. It has to be done so why torture youself...besides the weather is nicer in aug and I would then prefer being outside and not working on taxes
No getting away from the irs, we will get it all done in time for their deadline.
Then there are those that wait until October and extend the stress for a full 6 months. I would rather get it done and over.
