Often times there will be plenty of space in a bedroom to include a sitting area. This is a good selling point, but needs to be highlighted with furniture to SHOW potential buyers that there is sufficient space for this. Once buyers can see how much furniture their rooms hold, they are more excited and satisfied that their own items will fit nicely. We want to always remove any doubts prospective buyers have. Look how much larger the room looks after we furnished it.
Melody,
I love to do sitting areas in master bedrooms. I think it adds to the "retreat feeling" and in some cases can draw the buyer toward a great view, or outdoor living space. You did a great job with this room.

Execellent job !!! looks so cozy and warm....now the buyer will know what to do with this space...
Aloha Melody,
It has a very nostalgic feel to your stage, even though the furniture is not period specific. I feel there should be a big band orchestra playing softly in the back ground. Thanks for the post.
Peace,
Melody:
Wow does the ever room look great!

I can't beileve how much bigger the room looks. I love the colors you chose. Great Job. Looks so nice and inviting.

Melody,
Looks great! Very inviting. I think Master bedrooms are always more welcoming when they have a retreat or sitting area. I use the same headboard too! Pier 1?
