Can I Give You A Lyft
After The Showing?
I had a showing yesterday at a very exclusive property. You know the ones....the ones where the Mega-agent is too busy to come themselves and sends one of their junior agents to meet you?
That's fine, I don't mind this at all, actually it's far easier than trying to schedule showings with the actual listing agents.
But this one was a touch different. The junior agent called me about 15 minutes before the showing to say he was running a little late would be a couple minutes late. (He arrived right on time).
Once my client had left, he explained that because he wanted to be a full time real estate agent, he also was a Lyft driver in his spare time. He said he often tried to find a Lyft client to drop off in between showings to make some extra money.
The extra money he made helped supplement his earnings as a junior salesperson to the Mega-agent.
Hmmm..maybe next time I'll just call him to come pick me up for the showings. Help the kid out. :)
