By
Real Estate Agent with HomeStarr Realty RS143922A

Farmers MarketThere is a Farmers Market in Bensalem located near Street Rd and Knights Rd where you can find wonderful prices on beautiful flowers and produce . The flowers are fresh and so are the produce . You can also buy plants and fresh herbs . Last time I went for $2  I purchased a big crusty loaf of Italian bread  and an orchid plant for $5. The name of the farmers market is Produce Junction

I love local Farmer's Markets.  We have several here in Sacramento, and I attend one regularly near my home on Saturday mornings.

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat I always wonder why more people do not stop at these Farmers Markets to purchase Produce and Flowers .You do save so much money and can buy at a fraction of the cost that you would at the markets plus everything is so much fresher

Hi, Hannah. This is the time of year when the local markets start springing up. We won't see much happening in my area until late May, and a that time I'll start planting my garden. We are at 6200 feet above sea level. We could still get snow in June, so us gardeners know the season is late and we watch the weather.

Last year I did so well with my tomatoes that I froze about 14 quarts of sauce. We are nearly the end of that. I made soup and spaghetti sauce from it.

Farmers Markets are wonderful and each one seems to be different. I love how we have them in just about every community and...bragging here a bit...we have them year-round! Bread and orchids sound like a winning combo

$2.00 for a delicious loaf of Italian bread. When you think of the time and mess to make this, it is such a pleasure to pick one up at a farmers market. I always enjoy my weekend stops exploring all the stands. A real treat.
