Waikiki Landmark was completed in 1993 and has 217 condo units with commercial units on the first few floors. The top five floors bridge the two triangular towers and house several penthouse units per floor. The building has both Fee Simple and Lease Hold condos available. The penthouse levels have exclusive keyed elevator service with some units topping 4,000 sq.ft.
Waikiki Landmark is bordered on one side by Ala Wai Boulevard and the Ala Wai Canal with Kalakaua Avenue and McCully Street completing a triangle around the property. The complex is in close proximity to the Hawaii Convention Center, Ala Moana Shopping Center, Ala Moana Beach Park, and Waikiki Beaches. Built just prior to Japan's recession, the Japanese developer spared no expense in developing the property with the Japanese Ultra-luxury buyer in mind. The timing of the construction left the original developer in bankruptcy with the overbuilt units being bought out for pennies on the dollar. Today the project has recovered from it's stalled start and offers some of the largest square foot units in Waikiki.
