Dealing with Dandelions

They sure do look pretty in your photos, but not on our grass...

Roy, I think dandelions are happy little flowers!  

Roy Kelley I recall fondly of eating dandelions in the early Spring. Later, the plant makes great soups.

Ahhh...the dastardly dandelion!!! Great pictures of a flower people deem as a weed.

Dandelion greens in the salad last night; more greens with spinach tonight and may even do a batch of dandelion wine.

They are pretty... in someone else's yard! Yard tip: spray for weeds in late fall or early winter and your spring yard will be virtually dandelion free. Use the professional stuff, not the watered down stuff from the big box stores.

Roy, definitely have some yellow flowers coming up in the grass, as if a neighbor doesn't take care of them, they are airborn!    I have that tool to pop them out.   

I am glad that you photograph them, as they look really nice!  Whether we photograph them or not, you are right, we need to get out and walk daily!

The are such a lovely, intricate flower.  Too bad they  grow in the grass and spread allergic misery.

Roy- I loved each and every one of them.  You're right... we need to take the time to photograph all the beauty we see on our walks. 

My husband is out with his dandelion killer before they ever bloom. Up close they are a pretty flower.

I enjoy having plenty of these yellow fellows in my yards, I admire their endurance and tenacity.
