Give Food and Have Fun at the Community Assistance Center’s 4th Annual Food ‘n Fun Festival on Saturday, May 7, 2016 from 10 am – 3 pm for a fun-filled, outdoor, family event with activities and games for all ages in Sandy Springs! Join your neighbors from all walks of life gather together to raise awareness, funds and food to combat hunger and homelessness in our community while enjoying a fun day together! Bring your family and friends to the free festival! Gather a group now and plan to participate in the team events!
Team events include:
- The Food Challenge, a food drive contest where schools, businesses and organizations compete with rivals to collect the most food! Teams compete for awards, winners will be announced at the Festival!
- The popular Shopping Cart Decorating Contest is back! Teams compete for the Most Creative, Most Humorous and Funniest awards!
- Hunger Awareness Walk for all festival-goers, a ¼ miles around the track led by the Shopping Cart Parade!
Kids of all ages enjoy activities, games and crafts! Featuring a bouncy house, inflatable slide, balloon blast, ring toss, food bingo, Mother’s Day activities, arts and crafts, face painting, DJ music and more! Most activities are free! Carnival food available for purchase.
The Community Assistance Center’s 4th Annual Food ‘n Fun Festival will be held at North Springs Charter High School, 7447 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. Admission is free for all! Fill the Pantry: Please bring a can or more of food for the CAC Food Pantry! Free Transportation with Bus Stops Around Sandy Springs!
Proceeds benefit the Community Assistance Center (CAC) and provide for local families seeking assistance from the CAC Food Panty during the summer months when the pantry often runs low on food.
