Although our temperature reached only a high of about 61 degrees today, it felt glorious after the recent snow, heavy rains and gloomy clouds. Candlewood Lake and its surroundings are "waking up", trying to get into a spring mood. 
I was fortunate to see several beautiful waterfront homes on Candlewood Lake as part of a "Progressive Broker Open House", whereby you sort of eat your way around the Lake, while enjoying viewing unique lake properties. Each home offered a different [delicious] dish and even "intresting" beverages as well as raffle opportunities. It's a great way to get realtors in to preview listings. The sunshine helped - promise of things to come.
The Candlewood Lake area in CT is absolutely gorgeous in the summer. Come visit!
