Did I do that?

Did I do that? Remember the TV show with the little nerdy guy that would exclaim in a high pitched whinny voice, Did I do that?

I was thinking about all I have done this week and realized why I am so tired! In these parts, this is the very busiest time of year for real estate agents. I had a buyer send me thirty homes to go see. by the time I had researched them all, we were down to 4. As I called to make appointments, I was continuously told, Oh sorry, we just went binding! Homes are selling so fast I can't even get to them before they are gone. This happened last year at this time too.

I have an out of state buyer wanting to buy a home he used to own that is now a foreclosure. Several trips to the home to get contractors inside added some miles on my car and cost a tank of gas.

Another client wanted to see a home an hour away. We went, saw, and he bought!

Also listed a home this week and showed several potential buyers through another listing of mine. Then there was the never ending paperwork that comes with being in business.

It's also not over. Tomorrow, Saturday, I am showing more properties. It looks like Sunday I will be able to introduce myself to my family. I hear they are really nice.

Don't get me wrong. I love being busy. I wrote this post with a big 'ole smile on my face!

When a client sends me a list like that I tell them "we need to focus". I will only show them 4 homes a day and if they aren't right its time to regroup.
