100 percent chance of Snow

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty, LLC

The horses are fed, the barn is closed up tight and I'm wondering how much snow are we going to get this weekend in the Palmer Divide area which is to the North of Colorado Springs and south of Denver.     The weather report said there is a hundred percent chance of snow.   The estimated snowfall might be between 12-24 inches depending on the news source.    When my gates, fences and landscaping plus wind are factored into the equation, sizable snow drifts are likely at my house.   In other words, I'll be snowed in.

Last weekend was a gorgeous spring weekend.    I spent most of my free time outside and/or doing things with my horses.

Missing Lnyx Holsteiner gelding

I think this weekend will be perfect for staying indoors.  I have zero desire to get stranded in my car in a snow storm..    I plan to catch up on computer work, blogging and to do my spring cleaning.    That will allow me to focus on helping seller and buyers in the upcoming weeks.

Regardless of the weather you are experiencing, I hope you have a nice weekend.

Sincerely,

Sondra Meyer

Snow storm! It is crazy... it is typical for Denver to get such in April?

We have 80+ this weekend.

Morning Sondra-I remember that snow drifting well. Some areas hardly any snow and other areas could get lots of it. Glad you are staying inside. Snow and wind are a recipe for trouble. Your horse is beautiful.

An indoor weekend sounds like a nice change of pace for you Sondra, and the projected snow kind of makes that imperative. Stay warm and safe and enjoy some inside time. Hope the animals all cope well too. You sure do have your share of roller coaster weather there, but you sound like you are getting the hang of preparing well for it.

Thursday we sat outside at Springs Orleans enjoying the gloriously warm spring weather. Today I'm sitting in front of the fireplace, keeping it stoked to warm my aging bones :) Good call to stay indoors!! Hubby and I ran to the grocery store about 6 am to stock up on necessities (you know - coffee, wine  ), and all of my beautiful budding trees are hanging low . Stay warm!!

Hi Sondra - My dogs just don't get why they can't go swimming today, even though it has been snowing hard all day - nothing is sticking yet, though.

How did it all turn out, missy? I want you to know that I'm thinking of you often as I get my horse/mule routines down pat. I have two great gals, Della and Pearl and am happy as could be. It finishes off our ranch, now that we have new energy in our pastures! Everybody gets along, and I rode Pearl (my registered paint palomino) bare-back for the first time just to try her out with her new bit and bridle in my roundpen. She was wonderful and I can't wait to get her shoed, get a saddle on her and take her for a spin!
