San Jose Home Sellers Do You Know Your Agent Is NOT Doing Their Job?

I'm sure if San Jose sellers knew their agents were not doing their job, they wouldn't be saying "no problem" either.....kudos to you!

It's amazing to me that agents who do the bare minimum and flub it when coordinating showings, while homes around theirs are going under contract, remain employed.

I hear you, Kathleen. I was sitting on "open house" of mine yesterday and had some extra time on my hands and started to make follow-up calls. You can't believe how appreciative they were that I was calling them on a Saturday, their day off, rather than playing phone tag during normal office hours. Plus, rather than sitting there twiddling my thumbs when someone came in, I looked busy not there to pounce on them.

Good morning Kathleen. You're right of course, not all agents are created equal, but that one of the things that sets you apart from all the rest.

There is nothing worse than agents not returning calls.  I don't care how hot one's market is, most likely your chances of double ending a transaction are almost nil.  What other reason would you have to NOT call back, which is the minimal amount of courtesy one can extend to another agent-- if you are truly a pro.  It is the most frustrating situation, I agree.  Glad to hear you are writing an offer on another, more available property!
