Finn is Home Now

Finn, one of my pack, was really sick. He could hardly walk, had a fever and was so lethargic. I was really scared when I took him to the Vet. I had to leave him for tests but he is now home with me and the others. He has Lyme Disease. I was afraid that was it but the Dr. thinks he will recover and having him home makes me able to watch out for him. If you love animals as I do, then you understand how terrifying it is to watch your furkid in pain or in trouble. Next week, Billy will have a dental and teeth removed. All my pups need this but it is costly so one at a time. I am relieved that Finn is home.

Yea for Finn!  I had no idea what Lyme disease did to a dog, I just knew they get it from tics Sheila Anderson

Poor pup! I am glad to hear that Finn is home that that the vet was able to diagnose the illness so quickly. Does he have to take antibiotics as humans do?

Thank you for sharing Finn's story - Lyme Disease is serious, both to humans and to pets.  So happy to read that he will be 'ok' Sheila Anderson.  Yes, we've had doggie dental work done, too, and it's not inexpensive, especially with extractions and the anesthesia, and some breeds tend to need it more (the smaller furkids) - Good Luck with the dental visits.  You need to post a pic of Finn!
