Today finds me working on the business as I have a list of contacts that I need/must go through in order to have my homework done for BOLD on Wednesday. One of the things that intrigued me was the lack of response. In that, I mean that out of the 25 calls I made, 5 answered the phone and 3 did call me back. I did make a connection for an inspection for later in the week as the agent I called was in the process of getting their ducks in a row and they will need an something scheduled later in the week. Of course, time will tell.
Supposedly, our phone is the lifeblood of our business. So the question I have is this: “If you do not answer your phone does it mean you already have enough business or are you saying I don’t want your business and I do not care who you are?”
I always answer my phone with the exception of calls that I have earmarked - DNA, 800#’s or other pests that sap my time and energy.
And that, my friends, is my 2₵’s worth for this afternoon . . .
