This is one of my favorite old Searcy pictures on a post card. I like the way it was noted at the top, "Stayed here once." And the old cars gathered around show its popularity with Searcy folks. I have written several blogs about it. But this one is perhaps the saddest one. Look what happened on April 18, 2016.
Thanks to a friend who called me to tell me what was happening. I rushed over for this picture and saw the big jaws grabbing that roof and decided not to get any closer than I was standing for this final picture of an old Searcy favorite hangout. So long, Bill's Grill, aka China Star.
