You gotta earn it -and- ask for it, durn it!
Glad to know that an early lesson taught by my dad still remains a part of an everyday business practice. He would say, "No one can read your mind, you need to ask for what you want."
There is no secret that getting referrals from past clients is the biggest compliment you are able to receive for excellent service. And yes, you still need to ask for future business.
Past clients will:
- Help you to become more successful
- Trust you with their good friends and family
- Impress upon others the service you provided
- Choose to praise your successful methods to others
- Tout that you went above and beyond their expectations
Guess who called me this week? The daughter of client who has purchased two homes with my help and is planning a trip to southern Utah to buy a home. Her dad and I will be previewing today!
So very thankful to earn the trust of clients.
