Staging Before and Afters, Do You See A Difference?

DO YOU SEE A DIFFERENCE?

This is a recent staging project by Empire Home Staging Solutions, on a resale for a young working family with a very busy toddler.  The clients did not have a lot of money to spend on upgrading, so we worked mostly with their own furnishings and brought in a little bit of accessory items to update the feel of the home.  By de-cluttering and using proper furniture placement, the home now flows better and has a welcoming, cozy feel!

BEFORE-You walked right into the back of the love seat as you entered the house from the front door!

AFTER-Now the living room is de-cluttered and has a nice flow from the front door into the Living Room!

BEFORE- Cluttered Kitchen

                                       AFTER- Clean and Welcoming

AFTER-Dining/Kitchen

This was a FUN staging project that we did for a very nice young family who was upgrading to a newer and larger home.   After we staged this house for sale, the clients were so happy with the results, that they are considering to stage their NEW home for living, once they are settled! Do you see a difference?  Would you have done something different with the furniture placement in the Living Room?

Michelle ~ Nice! The before with the loveseat in the way makes it look almost like a barrier to entering the rest of the house.  It looks much more open in the after.

Michelle- You did a great job with this staging. The place looks great and good for you if it leeds to a staging for living job.

Now here's proof that staging makes a HUGE difference!  I'm a big fan of it for my listings.  Great before and after pictures!

Michelle, I think the furniture placement in the Living Room is great!  You opened the space up and let the traffic flow smoothly through the room.  The room looks much larger with your furniture placement.  Good job!

Yes I see the difference, You can actually see the house, and not be overwhelmed with all the clutter.

Amazing transformation, Michelle, I especially love the updated window treatment in the kitchen that coordinates the whole look!

Very nice, and the toddler can still live there too...You did a good job with the decluttering.  The rooms look SOOO much larger.

Michelle- this is great example of how people can use what they have to stage their home. I think a big problem stagers have in reaching consumers is that they think staging will be expensive or they will have to go out and buy all new things. You did a wonderful job of making the home the star- not their stuff. KH

I love seeing before and after photos and these are no exception.  What a difference!

What a great job!  Always a challenge when small children are involved.  Did your changes make them want to stay there instead of selling?  Awesome work.

Everyone- Thanks for the kind comments!

Michele- Thanks for your comment, in answer to your question, the client was afraid that the results of the staging would make them want to stay in the house, but they had a brand new builder home waiting for them that had extra sq footage and an extra bedroom so they decided to move, but once they get settled they said they would be calling me for staging the new house for living!
