Each week, I will be providing an updated list of the bank owned homes that came on the market on Long Island during the previous week. This weekly list is broken down by price ranges. Under each price range, you will find a list of towns that had bank owned homes newly listed during the week. Each town is listed as a hyperlink, which can be clicked on for more information about the community with the bank owned homes (demographics, census bureau information, etc.).

Because of the number of bank owned homes coming on the market each week, it is not feasible to give details about each newly listed bank owned home in this format. Hi Adam, it is heartbreaking that all our areas have so many bank-owned homes. Yes, they present an opportunity for buyers, but each of them represents someone's misfortune. It's hard to show some of these homes and see children's toys or clothes scattered, left behind.

Adam -- this is a great resource for the consumer. Hopefully, they will give you a call to help them through the process. A lot of consumers have no idea how challenging buying a bank owned property can be.
