This morning I have an appointment to have my teeth cleaned, and then a cursory exam by the dentist. I do this twice a year and I have no insurance to cover it. I will be asked to have a full st of ex-rays because it has been a year since I had one. I will decline and I will be warned against waiting. Two months ago I had two surface cavities in a tooth I did have an ex-ray for. It hasn't helped.
On Thursday one of my dogs is having his teeth cleaned and there will be extractions I'm sure. He is my oldest and has been sick so I'm hoping this helps. This procedure will be costly and he won't have ex-rays. It's a big week for teeth in my world. In May another of my dogs is going for the same procedure and in June another. I will get through this and I'm hoping my pups do too.
