Wordless Wednesday - There are No Words are Needed Here!

Larry Johnston If I could only count the number of times I had to pull slivers out of my thighs and butt; plus, not to mention the number of times my brother and sister would suddenly 'bail out' on the other side but only when I was at the very top.  I haven't been right since!

I love the photo of the playground that brings back some memories Larry Johnston.

Larry, this awakes many fond memories... I'm afraid though that nowadays, this would be considered a safety hazard!  

Words may not be neccessary Larry Johnston but it screems "Ouch" to me.

Larry I remember riding an old see saw like that when I was a kid.

That see saw has seen as much as it can take, and there will be no more sawing in it's future

That's kind of a sad and neglected looking playground.

All of life's lessons can be learned on the playground after mastering each skill. The see-saw is one touted as dangerous and as depicted here, dying a slow death. Maybe it's due to needing a partner to enjoy it's intricacies, however, what do I know?

Larry, lots of memories of my childhood, and this teeter totter looks like it could use some repair!  

Hi Larry - I loved going to a playground with a see saw.  I had to be careful if my friend jumped off the other side.

It sure looks like that teeter would totter! Or is it that the totter would teeter? I didn't get any splinters because I had the manufactured kind in the 1970's.

That must be very very old.  The ones we had when I was a kid were made of metal.
