A New Way to Look at Goals

Affirmations have long been a part of what we do....and they work !

Hi TeamCHI - Complete Home Inspections, Inc. - I agree with what you have stated in your post. My coach also added this to our personal goal statement...I realize I cannot get without giving, so to achieve my goal I am willing to give_______________in return for achieving my goal. 

I keep my Personal Goal Statement on my desk and refer to it. I also review and re-access where I am in the process every week or two. 

Hi Michael - you said two important things here.  Your WHY is most important but that self talk of affirmations means that we become what we think about.

I'm so glad this works for you. Some like to use a vision board and others put sticky notes around their house with motivations and affirmations. The important thing is that you set the goals no matter how you need to. You can't run a race if you don't know where the finish line is.

Michael Best Wishes on what you want... if I may share a hundred years ago I had a picture of the pacific ocean with palm trees on my screen saver as well as in the back of my American Express Day-timer book.... I used to look at it during meetings, presentations....etc... next thing you know I am in Los Angeles and was living in Marina Del Rey for eight years... you also need the visual aids is my point...Endre

Reach for those high goals and stay on course to make them happen.

I will be driving a new car by the end of summer. I am truly motivated and this is a goal of mine.
