In Real estate that is...

For some reason because I have a website that is visible, I get people calling me asking the darndest questions.

Today someone called asking if this was the Denver Answer Desk.  No, it's actually a car in Denver, but what's your question.  "OK, well who are you?"  You called me to ask me who I am?  "No, I called to ask a question".  Oh, ok, I'm a Realtor in Denver.  "Cool, do you rent apartments?" no.  "Can I ask you a question?" sure, I'm still here.  "Can a person survive in Denver with Asthma?" I guess, but maybe you should Google a medical person, I'm a Realtor.  "OK, bye."

Yesterday a lady from Napa Valley called. She's thinking about relocating to another part of the country and has it narrowed down to about 3 places.  She hates muggy.  Denver is not muggy.  "Well what's the temperature in the winter time?" Chilly but not too cold. "Well when it gets below 70 degrees I get nervous." Ahhh, well you'd be nervous here.  Every night and all winter long.  "is it muggy?" only when it rains.  "Does the rain freeze?" Yup, but we call that snow.

 Last year the City of Denver banned a certain breed of dog.  A women called me to register her disdain for Denver, Colorado and people who lived there in general. OK.  Fine, why don't you call the mayor?

Is it me that attracts strange callers, or does everyone else get their share?  Please share your experience...I need someone to talk too...

No Kristal, I don't get calls like those.  Hopefully, you don't either.

Have not had top position (in real estate websites that is) ever.  Guess that may be why I have been spared.  Think I will be satisfied with being among those who operate at lower altitudes on this one!

I am so glad to hear tha I am not the only one. 

I talked to someone a few days ago.  He wants to refinance his vacant investment propery (he rents an apartment lees than 5 miles from the property), which he refinanced 8 months ago, at 90% LTV and has yet to make a payment on it.  And he told me, that it is unfair that foreclosures are put on his credit for others creditors to see.

I have had a top ranked website for about 6 months (it is still ranked pretty high, just not #1-5) and never had questions like those you mentioned, Krystal.....

If you have that pic on your website (half your cute face) maybe people think they can call.... it kinda looks like you have something to hide...people like to get things revealed......I am thinking they are thinking you may have their answers.....

Kristal, I must have viewed your site at least 100 times. Even when Google goes through their myriad of datacenter and index changes, your site is still top dog for Denver Real Estate. Rock On!
