While attending an open house on Friday, desserts were provided to all attendees. The seller, yes the seller, made these delicious cookies. I've never seen such large cookies. I asked for the recipe, but she doesn't give it out as it was her grandmother's recipe. However, she said, I may be able to Google it and find a variation of the recipe.
So, I went on line and found two different ways to make these cookies. The below video is traditional Italian cookies called “pesche dolci” in Italy otherwise known as Italian peach cookies.
And, the second recipe is from the Martha Stewart show, Peaches with Cream. I'll use both recipes when making these cookies, as they are somewhat different. I plan to make these cookies for a garden club meeting as they are just so delicious, fun to make and of course good to eat!
