Please take two minutes and go to https://www.alamode.com/action/.  The Home Valuation Code of Conduct (HVCC) threatens our livelihood as Appraisers, and we have to do something to stop it.

"a la mode has put together a letter for us to submit to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO), and N.Y. Attorney General Cuomo.  The letter strongly urges these agencies to make modifications to the HVCC, and a la mode is trying to get as many people as possible to submit this letter.  They'll be physically delivering a copy of each letter signed (thousands of letters) to each agency this Wednesday, April 30th.  We all need to take action now.  This is the best way to have the loudest collective voice against the HVCC as it's currently written."
