If you are an ECU graduate or live in Eastern NC you are sure to know Purple and Gold represent the colors for East Carolina University. We love to find stuff with these colors whether clothing, tailgate items, nail polish or home decor !
These are Purple and Gold Iris' that Ironwood Golf and CC has planted in the pond behind our home. They bloom this time of year and last night they seemed so full and colorful as the much needed rain left the area......

Ironwood Golf and Country Club
Ironwood is home to many in Greenville as it offers patio home options to million dollar custom properties.
The clubhouse offers a pro shop, dining room, bar and casual dining as well as patio seating and upstairs private space for weddings, showers, meetings and such.
The streets are lined with sidewalks and provide for a friendly atmosphere. There is a driving range which also is hosts ECU Golf Teams for practice. The 18 hole course winds through the community which runs along the Tar River. Lined with tall pines and hardwoods the view is special and well cared for.
There is a pool, snack bar and baby pool that adjoins the lighted tennis courts for lessons and play.
