In 1963, S&S Construction (now known as Shapell Industries) started building homes in El Dorado Park Estates; it was their first large development project, and S&S completed El Dorado Park Estates in 1974. And when it was all said and done, S&S constructed 1,367 homes offering 28 different floor plans. Besides this amazing community of single family homes sits “The Lakes condominium community.” "The Lakes" condo complex (also known as "El Dorado Lakes,") is an unexpected oasis of streams and pathways offering lake view condos with resort-style amenities.
