National Teacher Appreciation Week 2016
This is National Teacher Appreciation Week and it is time to thank a teacher who helped you or one of your children. Teachers do so much to give children guideance, a love of school and education, support so take this week to thank them for all they do.
The National Education Association describes National Teacher Day “as a day for honoring teachers and recognizing the lasting contributions they make to our lives”. Teachers play a critical role in educating and shaping our children: the future leaders of our country. They are kind, patient, hard-working, dedicated and understanding professionals that mold our children’s lives in a positive direction. We entrust our children with the teachers, and they affect their lives on a daily basis.
Many of us have a particular teacher who helped set our goals to succeed in life and if you remember their name, please put it below along with the name of the school you attended.
Many businesses are offering discounts this week to teachers so be sure to bring your "Teacher ID" with you when you go for dinner (teachers don't go out for lunch) after school.
