Locals may remember the Rum Island Grill. It was a pricey and somewhat pretentious eatery located at 490 E Eau Gallie Blvd in Indian Harbour Beach. Originally it is called the Rum Fire Grill, but it changed it's name to Rum Island Grill, reportedly because of copyright infrigement or something like that. In any case, it recently closed and I had been wondering what was going go take it's place.
Question answered! The very popular Charlie & Jakes BBQ that I told you about a couple of years ago and located across the street is moving into the larger facility. When I blogged about them last, I said that they didn't need a larger facility. Obviously I was wrong. They are really upgrading!
