435 Ho'olawa Rd, Haiku Maui Hawaii is a botanical delight, with abundant tropical trees and flowers. The owners of this country property have built it from the ground up and planted all kinds of fun things. After turning this home into a B&B they called it Windward Garden Bed & Breakfast.
Orchids do very well in the humid climate of Maui, and you just have to park them in a safe place outdoors, like a crook of a tree branch, and give them a little spritz of fertilizer once in a while. In return they will show off their colorful and beautiful flowers which last a long time.
Interestingly, Hawaii only has one native orchid, but the imports and hybrids sure do love it here. If you love to garden and grow flowers all year round, think about moving to Haiku Maui where it's really easy to indulge yourself and grow exotic plants with little effort.
I snapped all these pics one day while I was showing the property to some prospective buyers. 435 Ho'olawa Road is one of my Maui listings that will appeal to gardeners. Check out the MLS info for Windward Garden B&B for more pictures.
You can also fly over the grounds and see it from the air with a YouTube video. If you like what you see, contact me with your questions. This property needs a new owner, and it could be YOU!
