The REO at 1054 Kealoha was a short sale listing prior to being foreclosed on. One of the reasons it didn’t sell as a short sale is because of the tenants/occupants. They wouldn’t let the house be shown. The bank is trying to work with them to help them relocate but the reality is when you been living one house away from the beach for free, relocation is not a top priority. The bank or buyer will probably need to evict the occupants. Most banks usually do this before they put the house on the market. This is a great price for this property, but a buyer may need to add in eviction costs.
