The 2016 Marietta Greek Festival will be on Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 11 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. The festival is held at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church, 3431 Trickum Road in
Marietta.

Over a dozen authentic vendors set up their shops inside the Agora (Marketplace). Come by to see items created in the Greek tradition, such as fine imported Greek jewelry, handmade linens, hip scarves, delicious Greek cuisine, Greek cookbooks and travel books, decorative art pieces, hand-done oil paintings, beautiful Mediterranean candle holders, glass blown items and wood crafted items from the Holy Land… just to name a few. You will find an endless assortment of items that reflect the Greek culture and its traditions.

We hope you enjoy all of the traditional shows throughout the day, and stay with until closing time to enjoy modern and contemporary shows. The evening shows will take us through modern times in Greece. They will begin your time travels in the 1910’s – 1940’s with the Rembetiko Period. Then will move through to the prosperous age of the 1950’s – 1970’s where you will see your “Zorba the Greek” favorites. They will end the evening with the most contemporary dancing of them all, choreographed to the latest in Greek club hits.

In addition to Dancing and Food, there are several other activities for children including:

  • Face Painting
  • Kid Art
  • Inflatables
  • Playground
