Our most daunting challenge is accepting that in this very moment, we are whole and enough.
The world today is full of messages telling us we need to do something or change ourselves in order to be “whole.” We've been conditioned to always be looking for new ways to fix and improve ourselves, driven by a script of "never good enough." It's time to flip this script, and replace it with a practice of knowing our inherent wholeness. The next time "never good enough" pops into your inner dialogue, remind yourself being enough isn't an if/when proposition. Let go of the contingencies of "good enough" you're practicing in your life (Ex: "I will be good enough when..."). Holding on to these contingencies is like a subtle aggression against who you are, but you don't need fixing: you are enough. You always were, are, will be. 2016 Project Happiness
