Spring bloom - Purple Lilac
Purple Lilac is one of the many shades of purple I am seeing in the garden. I am especially fond of the Lilac bush standing next to a large Dogwood tree cover with white petals, what a contrast.
Spring is a lovely time of year, such fun watching plant pop out of the ground, and the various shade of green blanketing the variety of trees.

Jennifer my mother and Diane's mother used to have and love Lilacs.... sadly they do not grow here in California due to the climate and Diane always wants one... the garners the arborist all telling her Sorry....Endre

Endre tell Diane I wish I could send her a plant but it sounds like it won't survive. I am sure you are enjoying many flowering plant we can't have in the Northeast.
Tara I have lots of purple too. in the next week or so I will have to take a photo of my sea of purple.
I was checking on one of my rentals today and noticed the purple lilacs were in full bloom.
They always bring back pleasant memories when I see these.

Some of the prettiest flowers in the world are purple lilacs, orchids and such as these! Great stuff!
that's a really wonderful thing to notice these days because it means spring is sprung and summer is on the way!
