I don't know if this blog is the proper place according to protocol to speak to the issue of Tech Support offered by the folks behind the scenes at AR. However being an intrepid traveler I think I will go for it. Being involved with AR for a handful of months hasn't made me an expert in Blogging or knowledgeable of the nuances of its resent beta venture "Localism". Although I am fairly well educated through my past 30+years of tinkering around with computers and their related systems I've been flummoxed a few times and had to call upon those unseen background elves.
My most recent need for a little elfin advice came the other day and it regarded picture importation. Taking a good twenty to thirty minutes to compose an inquiry that sounded semi-intelligent I clicked it off expecting it would be routed to Bombay or Mexico City and sometime in this century I would receive some sort of an answer that could only be deciphered by someone like my 3 year old grand daughter who is showing all the signs of becoming a first rate computer hacker. Much to my surprise my expectations failed to occur. In fact the response was well within a reasonable timeframe and provided understandable instructions which when implemented resolved by problem.
This was not the first time that I was pleasantly surprised by those unseen forces that move AR and provided answers to those questions that we believe have no answer. So I just wanted to give them a Big Thank You and say we are truly fortunate to have such gifted folks working behind the scenes to make us all happy and provide such a solid platform upon which to discuss our topics.
