The inventories are most notable increased in Prince George County; where a record number of homes are currently For Sale. Single Family Homes in the District are also at multi-year highs.
With about 8 weeks to go until we hit the typical yearly "peak"; there are a great many choices available for Home Buyers in the DC area.

Condos: Actives: 1570 (Same as last week) Expired: 7 Under Contract: 440
Arlington County
Single Family: Actives: 543 (Up 9 from last week) Expired: 1 Under Contract: 153
Condos: Actives: 549 (Down 6 from last week) Expired: 2 Under Contract: 173
Prince Georges County
Single Family: Actives: 7004 (Up 18 from last week) Expired: 64 Under Contract: 755

It is important to see the number of homes taken "Off" the market. While many of these homes will return to the marketplace a week or two; seeing a listing "expire" means that the seller and agent thought or expected the home to be sold by now.
