tricycle I coined a word!  I may have even coined two words.   Why does it matter?  Because Seth Godin said to do it...

#18. Coin a term or two.

Because Sellsius Blog did it... unzillowable

As Maggie Knowles is my witness TRIBLOGULAR is my word.  Mine, mine, all mine (read "Mine, mine, all mine" in the voice of a possesive two year old for the full effect.)

I don't know how I missed Maggie's comment on Sellsius° Blogs entry about their New Years Resolution to NOT use the term blogosphere, Maggie wrote on January 5, 2007:

On Sellsius° Blog's "My New Years Resolution Stop Using the word Blogosphere"

Maggie Knowles                                             Jan 5th, 2007 at 4:44 am

Too late, I used "Around the Blogosphere" as a category on my blog, I'm used to it. Speaking of new blog words, I love Maureen's - TRIBLOGULAR, on her new blog Columbus Best Blog http://columbusbestblog.com/2007/01/01/happy-new-year/ (how many times can you use the word blog in the same sentence??>..)

I just googled triblogular and her site is the only one that comes up. "

Does the word Blogosphere bother you as it does Joseph and Rudy of Sellsius° Blog? Maybe triblogular and biblogular are just as offensive....  it seems BIBLOGULAR may also be mine...I don't know if I ever saw Maggie's  comment before.  I think if I had it would have understood that I'd coined a term.   I was even less focused on coining terms way back in December 2006 so Maureen Francis comment about biblogular being my word did not sink in.  I actually used the word TRIBLOGULAR on Active Rain weeks before I became TRIBLOGULAR and used the word on ColumbusBestBlog.com I must have been contemplating taking on a third blog.  In the era of the Great Real Estate Meme of 2006 Ann Cummings asked...

Maureen - I was memed twice, and I did new things on each list.  One of them is here on AR and the other one I put on my RealTown blog, and linked them together.  I thought this was fun, and a great way to learn more about people you've been conversing with all this time!

What is a "Biblogular"?

biblogular = two blogs... a person with three blogs is triblogular.... let's not go further... someone with four blogs is in need of help.

12/19/2006 by Maureen McCabe Edit Delete

I am in need of help and I'm just biblogular.  Find me a treatment program, please.

PS If one googles biblogular, guess where they land?

I don't know?  Active Rain? Sellsius Blog?  They coin words.

edit:

Columbus Ohio

If you are Biblogular and were memed more than once did you do the same five? Write a second five that you'd like us to know about. ...

I was biblogular in 2006.  I am triblogular as of the first of the year, Discover Columbus my RealTown blog,  and my newer Columbus Best Blog and here.

What do you get for coining words these days?  Nothing, nada, zilch... coining a word and 25 cents will buy you a phone call... or will it?

Elaine:  Blogging is contagious... lots of biblogurism out there....

Ines: I can't.

Maureen - I just learned ANOTHER word from you!  "Triblogular" !  I guess I'm a 'biblogular' and didn't know it back then.  But I'm not doing a very good job at it at all, I've been neglecting my other blog.....poor little thing.  It must be feeling so alone where it is since I'm paying no attention to it of late.  I best remedy that particular situation.

Maureen, good for you on your new baby.  However, I find it imperative to tell you that I think "Triblogular" and "Biblogular" sound like near fatal illnesses.  Or dare I say, STD's???

Mrs. Smith, I'm sorry to tell you that you have a severe case of Biblogular.  Take a full course of Zithromax and come back in 2 weeks for a follow up.

Maybe it's just me!

Tell me about SPARKWHEAT???

RX for Triblogularism

Ann: Yes you are biblogular... I am neglecting my RT blog terribley. I have to publish something there...

Sara: I thought about Triblogularism sounding like a medical condition...In fact I made this image up to illustrate the entry, but then decided not to go the medical route.

I must admit STD never crossed my mind though.

Sparkwheat are a team of gifted bloggers in the Pacific Northwest.  They are blogging on a WordPress platform and I mistook it for a high end $$$ designer REALTOR® blog.. Theirs is not hosted.

Acccoring to Sparky Buckwheat is very gifted technologically, together they have a great blog.

Then if I have six blogs, I must be sexblogular?  And when I exceed six blogs, does it mean that my sexblogular life is behind me? Oh my!!!

I'm not getting into sexblogularism... didn't I read on Inman yesterday that you are writing 10 blogs now... I am sure that is what it said.   Darn can't go back and reread it, it's Inman.

Oh my is right.  Now I thinking up all sorts of new "blogularisms", and I don't think a single one of them is appropriate to print.  What fun!

Of course it's 'passion'!!  Too funny.

Well, Maureen, if we use our new words often enough, we might see them in Webster's Dictionary one day!

my goodness I never ever commented back to Teri (Inactive AR member ) or my Fairy Blog Mother, Frances.  Thanks ladies.  Blugularism?  Seems like Mr. Heavens in Frances link has stopped posting on two of his posts.  I killed one of my blogs too... but with the Outside AR blog I think I am Triblogular or worse.
