Real Estate Websites

Being relatively new to real estate, I am working on making a web presence and looking for advice on how best to do so. This blog has to do with websites. My site www.briansolinsky.com is up and running, but I would like to see some other sites that have PROVEN to be successful and receive suggestions about what makes them work? When is the ideal time to have people register? Please help this fledgling agent. Also, if you get a moment to look at my site and give some comments and suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Brian, site looks very nice. I'll take a closer look tomorrow for more feedback.

NO GATES, what I am talking about is don't make people sign in for anything!  They will move on to the next agent.  Front page looks good except where you are trying to get them to give you info.  Most internet buyers like to remain unknow for about 4 weeks. Put a bunch of tips and links about your area, become a resource.  Check out my blog and website I teach this stuff.

Peter: Thank you.

Dick: I appreciate your insight about not having people sign in. Tips and links about my area is a great idea. Your help is much appreciated. Liked your website and how you have links to companies you find worth the time to look at.

Brian, sorry, it was late last night. you registered your full name - Great!, site looks clean. links - nicely functional. you have your tel# top right, nice. I agree with Dicks comments (above).

add email address under tel#. make the address visible in case the person who is trying to email you wants to write it down to use with a different choice of email (rather than default).

the top 3/4 of every single page is exactly the same. other than home page, reduce the size of the header. it almost makes it seem like thelinks are not working because so little of the page changes.

explore other websites, don't keller williams agents all have their own websites? check and compare

good luck.

Peter and Dick - thank you for the advice about my website. I have had most of the gates removed and done some other adjustments. I am getting my email address added to the header too.

I'll add content over the next few weeks. Thank you for your help and support.

Good site. I'm just starting to work on mine so can't really help you. But thanks for sharing.
