The Builder Matters For Cincinnati New Construction Patio Homes

The history of Cincinnati patio homes isn't really that old.  For the most part, the idea of this particular low maintenance lifestyle home is less than 20 years old.  There are ranch condos and some landominiums that are older, but it's only in recent years that more and more builders have caught on to the appeal of these communities in the Cincinnati area.

There are currently plenty of builders offering new construction Cincinnati patio homes, from the large regional builders down to the much smaller custom builders.

You want plain, it can be done.

You want bells and whistles galore, that can be built too!

You want below $200,000?  Well that ALMOST can't be done, but there is this ONE PLACE that can do it that we know of (and you wont' find the specifics on our websites)!

But there are things to consider when deciding on which builder to contract with for a new construction patio home:

  • Where do you want to build?  This by itself will significantly narrow your choices
  • How much are you willing to spend?
  • 55+ community desired?  There's only one!
  • How far along is the community?  Just starting or almost finished?
  • What's the builder's reputation?
  • How solid is your credit?
  • What style of home do you want?

These factors and more will drive your decision whether to build or deciding a resale patio home is the best fit for you.

We keep a close eye on the patio home communities and have watched the ebb and flow for some.  In a few cases, the economy slide put a real hurt on some communities, with the builder never finishing.  In most cases a 2nd or even 3rd builder has come in to finish (one community went from Inverness to Brighton (Inverness' economy brand) to now Ryan Homes).  Ryan Homes is also the finisher for another community in the area.
