What to do in Door County this Weekend--right now it's one of the most beautiful times of the year in Door County. On every road I drive, I'm treated to cherry blossoms, lilacs, new leaves, tulips and trillium. Soon there will be apple blossoms and so much more.
One of my highlights of this week was a new listing on White Cliff Road, which I previously blogged, but I was really treated to the some of very best Door County could offer this week on some of the less-traveled INLAND roads to the north. If you travel on Highway 42 north of Sister Bay over the next 2 weeks, you'll be treated to THOUSANDS of blossoming cherry trees.
Visiting a home for sale on Green Road this week, I got a glorious glimpse of greenery, winding roads and a canopy of trees that make spring driving such a pleasure. However, it was preparing one of my newer listings this week that gave me a glimpse of God's wondrous creations in the natural beauty of in Door County.
It was my listing on Beach Road, a 5 bedroom water view home for sale in Sister Bay, that literally caught my breath this week. The combination of water view, pond, professional AND natural landscaping in a partially wooded setting made this home my listing of the week. This is SUCH a special home, in such a lovely area, that I'm sure that it will find someone who loves it as much as its previous owner has soon. See more about this lovely Beach Road waterview home here.
Other events this weekend include the annual Scottie Rally in Baileys Harbor, and the Spring Art Crawl in Ellison Bay. Also, Sister Bay's Village-Wide Rummage Sale NEVER disappoints anyone searching for new treasures. Visit Sister Bay tomorrow and check it out.
