Happy Buddha Madona Mountain California by Robert Swetz 2015
I am going to share a few ways of creating a longer, happy, prosperous life that I seem to have mastered along the way of life.
The first way would be to create a positive attitude in everything you do, work, home, school, everywhere, and the people that are negative around you, stay away from them. They will bring you down with their negativity.
The number two way to create a happy, properous life is to quit watching the "Idiot Box" (television). There is so much garbage, politicians fighting like they are in a 3 ring circus, news about bad weather, crime, stocks, murder, etc. I quite watching TV 20 years ago and really haven't missed a thing ... 😃
Numer three would be to stop worrying about every little thing, my God I know some people that are scared of their shadows, and watching less news will help with this.
For the last 2 years I have been going back and forth to Alaska and I just arrived in the Lower 48 one week ago. Something happened to me on my last visit. I recently flew back down and all I hear from family and friends is worry, oh you need to do this, watch out for that, blah-blah-blah and I mentioned to them "It's OK" ... I'm not worried, everything will be just fine, stop worrying 😱
People driving around in such a hurry like their house is on fire or their office is going to burn down, people need to slow down before they kill someone or themselves.
And how much money do we really need to live? How large is you overhead? Is your home to big now that your children are grown up and moved out? Move into a smaller home then! How many toys and material items do you have that you don't need? Is it time to clean house?
Statistics have show that the number one reason for divorce across the nation is because of money! And what in the govenment was to change the currency to pennies on the dollars? Does that mean you need to work harder ... NO!
Spend more time with your family, have a nice dinner at the table and have constructive conversation (without) a smart phone in everyone's hand. Take more vacations or 2 per year! start spending more time outdoors!
Take a close look at the Happy Buddha in the photo (above). The Chinese believe Happy Buddha to be a spirit or what they would call "Nats" ... Happy Buudha doesn't have a care in the world, he is always happy and you can see he has all these little Happy Buddha children around him.
So what's it going to be, Happiness or Worry?
