Never Stop Improving

NEVER STOP IMPROVING

The ability to adapt and grow within your environment is a key habit of success. Our ever-evolving environment is affected by new legislation, new product offerings and emerging, untapped market segments. The world around you is changing, so you must keep pace.

Create a blueprint for what you would like to achieve as well as the action steps needed to accomplish your goal. Examine it and reexamine it until you know precisely the path you must take to achieve your desired results.  You have no doubt heard, "one must learn to crawl before one can walk," and the same goes for your personal growth. Be patient and persistent on your journey, and you will get results.

Leaders are learners who constantly seek self-improvement. Take advantage of recommended books, DVDs, CDs, tapes, college courses, Newspaper articles (newspapers ONLY if you read past the headlines and form your own opinion), seminars and other knowledge-builders to constantly improve the way you think and respond to events.  We are in a challenging environment, now is the time to invest in your career... Add a some Alphabet Soup on your business card. Contact your local Board office and see what courses are being offered to help you stand out and grow your career in Real Estate.

This is especially important because things can change in an instant. And when they do, you will be more than ready for the challenge.

Have a GREAT week!

The highest compliment my clients can give me is the referral of their friends, family and business partners, do you know anyone with a real estate lending need?

Nice post.  I think if you learn one new thing to benefit your life or your business from a seminar, class, book or whatever, it is worth the time and money.

Those who can continually change and adapt with market and market styles will always succeed in their business. Very good blog. Now can you move my short sale rep along with getting this BPO that is a month over due?  :)

Heather, Are you trying to negotiate a Short sale with CW?  if so, here is some info that may help:

Due to the increased activity in the short sale area, a dedicated telephone number has been set up to handle inquiries from managers, HLCs, realtors and sellers. This line is staffed by approximately 80 representatives to help answer questions and provide status updates for short sales in process.

I have used this number several times over the past few days and I have found the average wait time to reach a representative to be approximately 4 minutes.

The number is 866.880.1232.

Hey Rob...education is key, particularly here in NJ where we have no on going educational requirements for real estate licensees!  Also, the NAR website has a great program that allows you to download books and other educational materials for reading and review at your convenience.  Best of all, it's free!!  Thanks, good post.
