Good reminder, John. I think this is one symptom of a broken system - it's a shame you have to declare being "with" one of these parties in order to determine the direction of a country that belongs to us all.

Great reminder, John!  I'm a non partisan voter, but was able to ask for a specific party ballot for the primary.  I've already voted by mail-in.  I'll be glad to have this election over.  It's been the most entertaining, exasperating, exhausting campaign that I can remember.  Sad thing though, I predict that the day after this election, a new campaign for the 2020 election will begin.  There's way too much money in running for office.  A whole industry is now built around it!

Hi my friend John DL Arendsen I think that these people that "complain" just don't understand the system. The PRIMARY is how the parties select their candidate. It is not up to non-party members to influence how the party makes this selection.

Florida is a closed primary state, too.  I wish the media would get the word out much better than they do because we had people turned away during our primary in March.  I also wish Florida wasn't a winner-take-all state... I just don't think that's fair to the many who vote for others but their votes go to the one with the highest percentage whether they like them or not.

Ugh!  Don't get me started.  Most so-called "journalists" have an agenda (strictly leftist-approved) before they interview or report.  I've also seen both sides omit important facts when reporting.  The vast majority of what we see on the "news" is biased or distorted.
